Tuesday's Champions League predictions including Manchester City vs. Young Boys

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Champions League fixtures, including

Dortmund vs. Newcastle (Tuesday, 5.45pm)

Revenge is on the agenda for Newcastle United on Tuesday evening, as the Magpies renew hostilities with Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park in Champions League Group F.

Eddie Howe's men were subjected to their first continental loss of the season against the German giants a fortnight ago, going down 1-0 at St James' Park to drop below Edin Terzic's men in the fascinating section.

We say: Borussia Dortmund 1-1 Newcastle United

Even with a double-figure absentee list, Newcastle's defensive diligence came to the fore against Arsenal, and a morale-depleted Dortmund side should not expect a repeat of their St James' Park triumph in front of the home crowd.

With all due credit to Howe's men, though, they are no Bayern Munich, and while we are backing the Magpies to avoid back-to-back beatings against Dortmund, they should be kept waiting for their first European away win of the new term as the sides remain neck-and-neck in the standings.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Shakhtar vs. Barcelona (Tuesday, 5.45pm)

Barcelona will book their spot in the knockout stage of the Champions League with two games to spare if they avoid defeat against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday night.

The Catalan outfit have been excellent in Group H thus far, topping the section with nine points from three matches, while Shakhtar are third, collecting three points from their opening three games.

We say: Shakhtar Donetsk 1-2 Barcelona

Shakhtar are more than capable of making this a tricky match for Barcelona, and we are expecting the Ukrainian outfit to find the back of the net on Tuesday. Barcelona can call upon the greater quality, though, and we are backing the Catalan side to navigate their way to a fourth victory in the section.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Atletico vs. Celtic (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Still unbeaten in Group E, Atletico Madrid aim to take one step closer to the Champions League's knockout rounds as they reconvene with Celtic on Tuesday.

Atleti had to work hard for a 2-2 draw in last month's reverse fixture, but they remain within a point of top spot at the halfway stage.

We say: Atletico Madrid 2-1 Celtic

Atletico have recorded only four clean sheets from their first 15 games of the season - and just one in the last seven - so Celtic should have hope of scoring at the Metropolitano. However, Atleti have proven too strong for any side on home soil over the past few months, and they certainly boast the firepower to post back-to-back wins over the Scottish champions.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Lazio vs. Feyenoord (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Just two points separate the top three in Champions League Group E at the halfway stage, so there will be plenty at stake when third-placed Lazio host leaders Feyenoord on Tuesday.

Following last month's 3-1 defeat at De Kuip, the Serie A side stride out at Stadio Olimpico seeking a slice of revenge - and victory would see them overtake the Dutch champions in the table.

We say: Lazio 1-1 Feyenoord

After showing signs of improvement, Lazio have begun to falter again, and last season's Serie A runners-up currently lack conviction at both ends of the pitch. They are not short of European experience, though, and have proven they can fight until the final whistle in this year's group stage; therefore, free-scoring Feyenoord may have to settle for a point.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

AC Milan vs. PSG (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

First meets worst in Champions League Group F on Tuesday evening, as section leaders Paris Saint-Germain travel to San Siro to meet winless AC Milan.

Les Parisiens took control of the close-knit group with a 3-0 crushing of the Rossoneri two weeks ago, leaving their hosts at risk of a premature exit from European football entirely.

We say: AC Milan 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain

A slice of unwanted history appears destined to be written for Milan on Tuesday night, where another fruitless evening in the Champions League is in store against a goal-happy Paris Saint-Germain crop.

A handful of changes from Saturday's dampening defeat could help Milan keep PSG at bay for a while, but the Ligue 1 holders should find their way through on more than one occasion to maintain or increase their advantage at the top of Group F, while keeping a rare Champions League away clean sheet to boot.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Man City vs. Young Boys (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Potentially just one point away from securing progression to the last 16 of the Champions League, Manchester City welcome Swiss outfit Young Boys to the Etihad Stadium for Tuesday's Group G battle.

The two sides reconvene a fortnight on from the holders' 3-1 success at Stadion Wankdorf, although both teams come into the matchday four battle on the back of dominant domestic victories.

We say: Manchester City 3-0 Young Boys

News of a rare physical affliction for Haaland will inevitably send a couple of shockwaves around Manchester, but the Doku-inspired Citizens coped just fine without their leading marksman at the weekend, and a similar story should unfold here.

Three-one victories have been customary for the holders in Group G so far, and an identical attacking haul could be on the cards, but even the odd consolation might be a bridge too far for a Young Boys team yet to win a Champions League group-stage away game, and a spot in the last 16 should be City's by the close of play this week.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Red Star vs. RB Leipzig (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Seeking to remain in control of their Champions League knockout destiny, RB Leipzig make the long trip to Serbia to reunite with Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday in Group G.

The German giants ran out 3-1 winners when the sides butted heads at the Red Bull Arena two weeks ago, leaving them two places and five points better off than their imminent hosts in second place in the section.

We say: Red Star Belgrade 1-2 RB Leipzig

Leipzig ought to have learned their lesson about risky plays out from the back following their meeting with Red Star a fortnight ago, and their recent failures domestically should offer the hosts quite the injection of confidence.

Quelling Rose's effervescent young attackers is another matter entirely for the Serbian champions, though, and we have faith in Leipzig to rectify their recent defeats and advance to the knockout stages by virtue of a hard-fought victory.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Porto vs. Antwerp (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Porto will be bidding to strengthen their grip on second position in Group H when they continue their Champions League campaign at home to Royal Antwerp on Tuesday night.

The Portuguese giants have picked up six points from three matches to sit second in the section, while Antwerp are bottom, losing all three of their group-stage fixtures this term.

We say: Porto 3-1 Royal Antwerp

Antwerp are certainly capable of causing problems on Tuesday, and we are backing them to find the back of the net in their fourth match in the competition. Porto have so much quality, though, and even with some injuries to important players, we are expecting the Portuguese outfit to win this match relatively comfortably.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
