Doncaster Rovers and Preston North End are unable to break the deadlock in the first half of their League One encounter, with the score tied at 0-0.

Doncaster Rovers and Preston North End have gone into the half-time break of their League One encounter with the score stuck at 0-0.

The home side had to replace Rob Jones with Liam Wakefield due to an injury in the 12th minute, which meant that Reece Wabara had to shuffle across to centre-back.

James Coppinger looked a lively source of attacking threat from the visitors, but his speculative effort 10 minutes before the break never truly tested Jamie Jones.

Theo Robinson then should have put the home side ahead, but fired straight at the goalkeeper when one on one, with both managers sure to ask for more creativity in the second period.
