Jorginho's agent confirms that his client intends to stay at Stamford Bridge rather than move to Barcelona when his contract expires.

Jorginho's agent has confirmed that his client wants to stay at Chelsea.

Barcelona had been linked with a move for the 30-year-old as a potential Sergio Busquets replacement with less than a year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

However, the player's agent has dismissed rumours of an exit for the midfielder, who recently revealed he is "very happy" at the club.

"I've never met with Barca director Mateu Alemany. We want to extend the contract with Chelsea, it's our priority," Joao Santos told Relevo.

"We only had conversations about Jorginho with Chelsea — no other clubs."

Jorginho has featured 17 times for the Blues so far this season, scoring three times.
