Southampton are reportedly ready to test Celtic's resolve by making a bid for attacking midfielder Ryan Christie.
The 26-year-old scored four goals and assisted eight more in 29 Scottish Premiership appearances this season.
Christie also played a big part in Scotland's successful Euro 2020 qualifying campaign, but he has just one year to run on his Celtic contract.
According to The Sun, the Bhoys must now decide whether to cash in on one of their prized assets or risk losing him for free in a year's time.
Southampton are said to be interested in snapping up Christie as boss Ralph Hasenhuttl aims to add more of an attacking threat to his side.
The Saints' Premier League rivals Burnley and Norwich City have also been credited with an interest in the Scotsman.
