Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly accepted Newcastle United's £13m bid for defender Dan Burn.
The 6ft 7in centre-back has emerged as the latest defensive targets for Eddie Howe's side as they seek to recruit a left-footed centre-back to partner club captain Jamal Lascelles.
The Magpies are understood to have had two bids worth around £8m and £10m rejected for the 29-year-old by Brighton earlier this week.
However, Sky Sports News reports that Newcastle have now seen their third bid worth £13m accepted by the Seagulls, with Burn set to travel up to the North-East for his medical.
The Blyth-born defender, who has less than 18 months remaining on his contract at the Amex Stadium, began his youth career with the Magpies before being released by the club at the age of 11.
Burn has made a total of 85 appearances for Brighton across all competitions, including 12 Premier League starts this campaign.
