Saturday's Bundesliga predictions including Augsburg vs. Bayern Munich

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Bundesliga fixtures, including Augsburg vs. Bayern Munich.

Stuttgart vs. RB Leipzig (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Third faces fourth in an intriguing Bundesliga contest on Saturday afternoon as Stuttgart play host to RB Leipzig at the MHPArena.

At the halfway stage, just one point separates these two teams, who enter this fixture on the back of successive league defeats.

We say: Stuttgart 1-2 RB Leipzig

A closely-contested top-four encounter between two teams desperate to return to winning ways could be on the cards this weekend, and although Stuttgart boast the home advantage, Leipzig have had far more success in this fixture over the years.

Both teams will not be at full-strength here, but we believe that Leipzig have enough quality at their disposal to claim maximum points against a Stuttgart side who have lost all four matches without the presence of leading marksman Guirassy this season.

Wolfsburg vs. FC Koln (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Wolfsburg will be aiming to return to winning ways when they host FC Koln in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Koln, meanwhile, have failed to win any of their last five league games to remain inside the automatic relegation zone.

We say: Wolfsburg 1-0 FC Koln

Neither side have been scoring prolifically this season, meaning that there is unlikely to be many goals scored when they meet in Lower Saxony on Saturday. Both managers will be lamenting injuries to key attacking personnel.

However, Wolfsburg have at least managed to score in both of their matches since returning from the winter break, and if they can do so again, we can envisage that being enough to return to winning ways against Koln. The visitors appear destined for relegation this season.

Hoffenheim vs. Heidenheim (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Hoffenheim will be aiming to end a winless streak of four league games when they host Heidenheim in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The visitors, meanwhile, can climb above their opponents in the table if they can claim an away win.

We say: Hoffenheim 2-2 Heidenheim

Hoffenheim's defensive record has been wretched in recent times, meaning that Heidenheim will fancy their chances of recording an upset. The visitors are one of the most potent teams from set-pieces in the Bundesliga and could cause plenty of issues in that regard.

However, the hosts clearly possess greater individual talent in offensive areas, and should have enough to score a couple of goals themselves. We can envisage an entertaining score draw between two sides who look set to finish in mid-table this season.

Werder Bremen vs. Freiburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Werder Bremen will look to continue their push up the Bundesliga table when they face Freiburg at Weserstadion on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts will head into this weekend's encounter in 13th place in the league standings with 20 points after 18 matches, while the visitors are in seventh place with 28 points.

We say: Werder Bremen 1-1 Freiburg

Werder Bremen will be brimming with confidence ahead of this match following a historic victory over Bayern Munich last week and having avoided defeat in their last five league games. However, despite their uptick in form, they now face a side that they have not beaten in their last five attempts and are in the midst of the race for a place in Europe next season.

This looks like a very level match on paper, and we feel there will be nothing to split these two at the final whistle.

Augsburg vs. Bayern (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Seeking to close the four-point gap to the Bundesliga summit, reigning champions Bayern Munich travel to the WWK Arena to face Augsburg on Saturday afternoon.

The two teams meet for the first time since matchday two back in August last year when the Bavarian giants secured a 3-1 home victory.

We say: Augsburg 1-2 Bayern Munich

Augsburg's recent home record against Bayern bodes well ahead of Saturday's contest, but their 21-game run without keeping a clean sheet is a cause for concern when coming up against a Bavarian outfit who have scored in each of their last 21 Bundesliga away games.

The hosts have the ability to frustrate Bayern, but Tuchel's men will likely dominate proceedings at the WWK Arena and should have few problems outscoring their opponents en route to another important victory.

B. Leverkusen vs. Borussia M'bach (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Bayer Leverkusen will attempt to consolidate their place at the top of the Bundesliga table when they play host to Rhine rivals Borussia Monchengladbach at the BayArena on Saturday evening.

The Foals will be seeking revenge after suffering a 3-0 defeat at home to Die Werkself on matchday two back in August last year.

We say: Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 Borussia Monchengladbach

Leverkusen will be regarded as favourites to come out on top this weekend, but Alonso will hope that his side can maintain their positive momentum without having to rely on another last-gasp goal this time around.

Monchengladbach's inconsistent form and poor record against Leverkusen bodes well for the hosts, who should have few problems claiming a comfortable victory to complete the double over their Rhine rivals.
