Etienne Capoue scores twice for Toulouse to help them to a 3-2 away win against Ajaccio in Ligue 1.

Toulouse have registered a 3-2 away victory over Ajaccio in Ligue 1.

The home side went ahead in the 18th minute when Jonathan Zebina scored an own goal.

However, that lead lasted for just seven minutes as Etienne Capoue found himself at the end of Etienne Didot's free kick and smashed home with a right-footed shot from close range.

Toulouse then took the lead just after the half-hour mark through Franck Tabanou, who made the best of a pass from Capoue from the centre of the Ajaccio penalty box.

However, both sides went into the break levelled at 2-2, as Adrian Mutu restored parity for the hosts with a close-range strike four minutes from the half-time interval.

Both Ajaccio and Toulouse had chances to add to the score in the second 45 minutes, and it was the visitors who netted the game's fifth and final goal of the match.

With 12 minutes of normal time remaining, Matthieu Chalme brought down Tabanou inside his own area and Capoue made no mistake from 12 yards to bag his second goal of the evening.
