Venus and Serena Williams win women's doubles title

Venus and Serena Williams clinch a fifth women's doubles championship at Wimbledon with victory over Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka.

Venus and Serena Williams have won a fifth women's doubles championship at Wimbledon after a straight-sets victory over Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka.

The 7-5 6-4 triumph under the roof on Centre Court was the sisters' 13th Grand Slam doubles titles.

The first set looked to be heading towards a tie-break before a break at 6-5 allowed Serena to serve out and give the Americans the initiative.

Despite the best efforts from the Czechs, it only took one break in the second to set the Williamses on their way as they closed out the match 6-4.

The win at the All England club was Serena's second of the day after she had defeated Agnieszka Radwanska in the singles final.
