Elena Baltacha blown away by Petra Kvitova

British number two Elena Baltacha is out of this year's Wimbledon championships following a straight-sets defeat to fourth seed Petra Kvitova.

Baltacha claimed only 10 points in the opening set and lost it 6-0 in just 21 minutes on Court Number Two.

Despite vast improvements in the second, where Baltacha quadrupled her overall points tally, the Czech number one proved too strong and took the set 6-4.

Kvitova will face Varvara Lepchenko in round three.
