Agnieszka Radwanska into Wimbledon semi-finals for third time

Agnieszka Radwanska is through to the Wimbledon semi-finals for a third time thanks to a three-set triumph over Madison Keys.

Agnieszka Radwanska has beaten Madison Keys in three sets to book her place in the Wimbledon semi-finals for a third time.

Both players broke serve at the start of the opening set, but it was Keys who took control after that as the American brought up five more break points thanks to some dynamic hitting.

However, the wily Radwanska saved all of them to keep herself in with a chance of taking the first set.

The Pole almost snatched it at 6-5 as she was presented with three set points, only for Keys to rally and force the tie-break. Radwanska then stormed into a 5-1 lead in the breaker before closing it out 7-6(3) with minimal fuss.

Despite losing out on the opening set, Keys remained patient and continued to deal with Radwanska's clever play around the court. The 21st seed, who reached the Australian Open semi-finals earlier this year, eventually earned a valuable break at 4-3 in the second and was able to hold her nerve to take it 6-3.

There was little to separate the players at the start of the tense decider, but the persistence of Radwanska paid off as she broke to go 5-3 up before serving out the contest 7-6(3) 3-6 6-3.

The 13th seed will face Garbine Muguruza of Spain in the last four at SW19.
