British duo win Wimbledon qualifiers

British duo Jamie Baker and Alex Bogdanovic have both won their first-round qualifying matches for this year's Wimbledon Championships.

Baker came through 4-6 6-3 6-4 against Italian 17th seed Matteo Viola on Monday.

Meanwhile, Bogdanovic took out Slovakia's Marek Semjan 7-6(5) 6-3.

However, Josh Goodall's participation at the tournament came to an end with a 6-4 7-6(6) defeat to Australian Sam Groth.
