Wimbledon preview: Women's singles final

Sports Mole looks ahead to the women's final at Wimbledon between Serena Williams and Agnieszka Radwanska.

Saturday's women's singles final at Wimbledon is a highly-anticipated contrast of styles as the might of Serena Williams goes up against the technical expertise of Agnieszka Radwanska.

Williams is looking for a fifth singles title at SW19 as she takes part in a seventh final while Radwanska, who is appearing in a first Grand Slam final, could become the new world number one with a victory over the American.

Sports Mole takes a look at the two players ahead of their encounter on Centre Court.

Previous best at Wimbledon:
Williams: Winner 2002, 2003, 2009, 2010
Radwanska: QF 2008, 2009

Record in 2012:
Williams: W27, L3
Radwanska: W38, L9

Head to head:
Williams 2-0 Radwanska (The Pole hasn't taken a set off of Williams in either match)

Where will the match be won and lost?

Serena will once again look to her devastating serve to help guide her through, while Radwanska is expected to bide her time from the baseline before landing any blows. Both players will be in confident mood heading into the match, but Serena's experience on the big stage may just get her through if the going gets tough. That said, Radwanska has nothing to lose and has a remarkable ability to remain calm under pressure.

Sports Mole says: Serena Williams to edge it in three sets.
