Serena Williams wary of Heather Watson

Twenty-time Grand Slam champ Serena Williams admits that her upcoming third-round Wimbledon clash with Briton Heather Watson could force her out of her comfort zone.

World number one Serena Williams has revealed that she is not looking forward to facing Great Britain's Heather Watson at Wimbledon.

The duo will clash in the third round for a first-ever meeting between the pair after Williams beat Timea Babos in straight sets, while Watson got past Daniela Hantuchova.

The British number one insisted that she was unafraid of facing the 20-time Grand Slam champion, but her American counterpart has mixed emotions over the match.

"Wow, she plays so well on the grass and she loves playing at home," Williams told BBC Sport. "I never like playing the Brits at home so once again I have my work cut out for me."

The match will take place on Friday.
