Serena Williams suffers injury scare

Serena Williams has suffered an injury scare ahead of her Wimbledon semi-final against Victoria Azarenka on Thursday.

The four-time winner was forced to receive treatment on her troublesome ankle during a Ladies' Doubles match with her sister Venus against Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Sania Mirza.

However, the American was able to continue and went on to clinch a straight-sets victory with her sibling to reach the quarter-finals.

Williams or Azarenka will face the winner of Agniezska Radwanska's match with Angelique Kerber in Saturday's final.
