Robson upbeat despite first-round loss

Laura Robson has revealed that she is confident she can break back into the world's top 30 despite her first-round exit at Wimbledon.

The 21-year-old made her return from 17 months out of the game with wrist and knee injuries, but she was beaten in straight sets 6-4 6-4 by Evgeniya Rodina.

However, Robson insists that she is upbeat about her chances of returning to her best form despite the setbacks in her development.

"I'm confident that I have ability to get back to where I was - if not higher," Robson told BBC Sport.

"It will still be a long process but I'm excited that I have another chance to do it. At the age of 21 I have some good years ahead."

Robson had reached 27th in the world before her injury problems.
