Play abandoned at Wimbledon

Officials confirm that play has been abandoned for the day at Wimbledon because of the rain.

The wet conditions in London have ended day seven of Wimbledon prematurely.

Following the conclusion of Novak Djokovic's win over compatriot Viktor Troicki, Wimbledon officials announced that the rain had put an end to the chance of any more play.

That means that Marin Cilic and Andy Murray, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Mardy Fish, and Richard Gasquet and Florian Mayer will all return tomorrow to resume their matches.

Play will get underway at 12pm tomorrow.
