Murray plays down Wimbledon concerns

Andy Murray has moved to play down concerns over his form and fitness ahead of his quest for a first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon next week.

The world number four began his grass court season at the Queen's Club last week with a defeat to Nicolas Mahut at the first stage. That loss was followed by another against Janko Tipsarevic earlier today.

However, speaking after the loss to Tipsarevic, Murray has insisted that he is happy with his preparation for SW19.

"I was moving much better than I was a week ago at Queen's, I wasn't slipping around as much which will be important for Wimbledon," he said.

"I'm hitting the ball very well and practice has been very good over the last few days. I've got another match here tomorrow and then I'll spend two or three days at Wimbledon before the tournament starts."

Murray has been seeded fourth at Wimbledon.
