Angelique Kerber: 'I'm playing my best tennis'

Angelique Kerber says that she is playing the best tennis of her career after reaching the Wimbledon final without losing a set.

Angelique Kerber has suggested that she will try to use the experience that she gained in the Australian Open final to her advantage when she faces Serena Williams on Saturday.

In a rematch of their clash in Melbourne, Kerber and Williams will meet in the Wimbledon final, less than six months after Kerber upset the American to win her first Grand Slam title.

However, while Kerber has hinted that she is playing the best tennis of her career, the left-hander is anticipating a stronger performance from Williams at SW19.

The 28-year-old told BBC Sport: "It was a completely new day and I know she is playing well at the moment. Everything worked and it is a very good feeling.

"I have a lot of experience now. I'm really enjoying my tennis life. I'm playing my best tennis. This is a completely new tournament, I will give everything I can in the final."

Kerber reached the final by beating Williams's sister Venus in straight sets - the sixth successive time she has won without dropping a set.
