British number one Andy Murray has insisted that his French Open defeat to David Ferrer won't be playing on his mind when the two meet at Wimbledon.
The Scot cruised into the last eight of the tournament after dispatching Marin Cilic in straight sets and is still looking for a first Grand Slam win of his career.
Murray was dumped out of the French Open in the quarter-finals by Ferrer, and the world number four says that he won't be thinking about that loss when the two meet in the same stage at SW19.
"We'll see whether it has relevance or not," said Murray.
"Tennis changes on a weekly basis. Some guys play great one week and struggle the next. Last year, Novak had never beaten Rafael Nadal in a final and then he wins six or seven in a row against him.
"I just need to make sure I play well and see what the outcome is."
The pair face off against one another on Centre Court later today.
