Caroline Wozniacki allays injury fears

Caroline Wozniacki has dismissed concerns that she may not be fit enough to feature at Wimbledon.

A hip problem restricted the world number five to just three games in her Eastbourne semi-final with Belinda Bencic on Friday, but on Twitter, the Dane appeared to confirm that she will be able to compete at SW19.

Unfortunately had to withdraw from my match today. Sorry to everyone who came out to support. I had to do what's best for me to be 100%

Wozniacki is scheduled to face Zheng Saisai in the opening round at the third major of the year.
