Marion Bartoli admits that her performance against Kirsten Flipkens was as good as it could have been to reach the Wimbledon final.

Wimbledon 15th seed Marion Bartoli has admitted that everything happened perfectly for her during her 6-1 6-2 win over Kirsten Flipkens to reach the All England Club final.

Bartoli, who took just over an hour to reach her second Wimbledon final, was quick to congratulate the Belgian for her performances to reach the semis.

"I just really can't believe it right now," Bartoli told BBC Sport. "I mean I played so well today and I was feeling so great.

"Today I was playing so well and hitting the ball so cleanly from the start. She played a lot of slices so I had to be sharp with my footwork. Everything was just working so perfectly. To do that in the Wimbledon semi-final is an amazing feeling.

"I want to congratulate [Kirsten] for a fantastic Wimbledon. I think maybe she was injured today but she deserves the credit because she played some fantastic matches."

Bartoli will meet either Agnieszka Radwanska or Sabine Lisicki in the final on Saturday.
