Read how all the action unfolded below:

1.14pmGood afternoon! Li Na and Roberta Vinci are already on court ready to get their fourth-round match underway on court three.

1.16pmThese two have only played each other twice before, with the former French Open champion winning on both occasions.

1.17pmA win today for Li would equal her best performance at Wimbledon, having reached the quarter-finals in 2006 and 2010.

1.18pmThey players are ready to get the match started, with Vinci serving first.

Vinci 0-1* LiBREAK! Li looks aggressive from the start, making a brilliant cross-court forehand to bring up break point. Vinci tries to bring up deuce with a drop shot, but the sixth seed is able to get to the net in time and seal the game.

Vinci *0-2 LiLi moves brilliantly behind the baseline, firing a forehand past her opponent. She comes into the net for an overhead volley, but she takes the ball to early and smashes the ball well wide. Her forehand clips the net, but still manages to land on the sideline and she takes the game when Vinci forces the ball wide.

Vinci 0-3* LiBREAK! Li copes well with Vinci's dangerous backhands, coming into the net again, and this time winning the point with a stunning volley. An aggressive forehand brings up two more break points for the Chinese player. She takes it with some strong forehands from just inside the baseline. What a start it's been by the Australian open finalist.

Vinci *0-4 LiVinci finally gets a bit of luck when her forehand clips the net, dropping on Li's side of the court, but the sixth seed continues to dictate the game form the back of the court, before successfully coming into the net to seal the game.

Vinci 0-5* LiBREAK! A superb forehand groundstroke from Vinci helps her to a 30-0 lead, but she lets Li back into the game with a poor shot from behind the baseline, which finds the net. A strong return from the Chinese player helps her level the score before a brilliant forehand gives her another break point. A wide forehand from Li allows the Italian to save a break point for the first time in this match, but the sixth seed gets another chance, and wins the game by calmly returning a drop shot from Vinci.

Vinci *1-5 LiBREAK! Li comes into the net, but Vinci finds a stunning backhand from a tight angle before a poor shot to the net from the sixth seed gives Vinci a 30-0 lead. Another forehand strikes the net, giving the Italian two break points. Li punches hard from the back of the court to save the first, before a big serve helps her to deuce. Vinci gets advantage, and converts it when Li slices her volley into the net.

Vinci 2-5* LiVinci gets the better of Li in a 14-stroke rally, but makes the first double fault of the match. A strong serve from the Italian sees Li return the ball to the net, but Vinci's backhand does the same on the next point to bring up deuce. Li goes for too much power, and smashes two forehands long to help Vinci hold serve for the first time. The Chinese player will serve for the first set again next.

1.47pmSET! Vinci 2-6 Li

1.48pmVinci fought well in the last game of the set to try to keep herself in the opening set, but Li was able to regain her composure to dominate from the baseline and clinch the opening set in less than half an hour.

1.49pmIt was a blistering start from the sixth seed, but she seemed to lose her concentration for a couple of games, allowing Vinci to gain some confidence and get two games on the board. If Li can maintain her form in the second set, it should be a swift progression into the last eight for the Chinese player.

Vinci 2-6 0-1* LiBREAK! Li starts with a brilliant return against Vinci's second serve, but the Italian manages to get some stunning backhands in to take the game to deuce. Li gains advantage, and is handed the break when the Italian serves a double fault.

Vinci 2-6 *0-2 LiLi dominates from the back of the court, but some superb backhands from Vinci help her get back into the game and bring up deuce. The sixth seed makes her first double fault of the match to give the Italian a chance to break back, but Li manages to save the break, before finding some big serves to escape from the game with her serve in tact.

Vinci 2-6 0-3* LiBREAK! Li is in complete control from the baseline to bring up deuce, before a drop shot forces a wide shot from Vinci, giving the sixth seed a chance for another break. A poor shot to the net from the Italian ensures that Li takes the game.

2.06pmVinci has looked stronger at the start of this second set, but Li has been able to raise her game again, and is making this look easy at the moment. With potential semi-final opponent Serena Williams currently a set down, this could be a big win for Li.

Vinci 2-6 *0-4 LiLi's forehand is deadly as she comfortably holds serve, mixing it up with a volley at the end of the game. Vinci's head appears to have dropped, as Li just looks untouchable.

Vinci 2-6 0-5* LiBREAK! Vinci's usually accurate serve deserts her, allowing Li to make some strong returns, quickly bringing up three break points, and she seals the game with a punchy forehand winner, and will serve for a place in the quarter-finals next.

2.11pmA long return from Vinci brings up three match points for Li Na.

2.13pmVinci saves the first two as Li forces two forehands wide.

2.13pmGAME, SET & MATCH! Vinci 2-6 0-6 Li

2.14pmLi Na was just in a class of her own this afternoon. Vinci rarely tested her opponent, taking just two games, as Li makes the quarter-finals in less than an hour.

2.16pmNext up for the Chinese star will be either Agnieszka Radwanska, who made the final at Wimbledon last year, or Bulgaria's Tsvetana Pironkova. They're due on court two later today.
