Victoria Azarenka overcomes Daniela Hantuchova

Number one seed Victoria Azarenka is through to the third round of the BNP Paribas Open after beating Daniela Hantuchova.

In a hard-fought first set Azarenka got the crucial break to take earn a 6-4 victory.

The second was far more straight forward for the Belarusian as she dominated the set, winning it in style 6-1 and clinching the match in just over 90 minutes.

Azarenka will now play Belgian Kirsten Flipkens in the third round.
