Jacob Miller leaves Hull FC to join Wakefield Trinity Wildcats

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have signed Australian utility back Jacob Miller on a one-year contract.

The 22-year-old, who started his career with NRL side Wests Tigers, had the final year of his Hull FC deal terminated to allow him to find a new club.

"Wakefield have given me a great opportunity to rediscover my best form and this is a challenge I'm eager to fulfil," Miller told reporters.

"My termination agreement at Hull FC has allowed the Wildcats and myself to agree a deal that we all hope will prove beneficial. I'm very excited about joining the team and competing for a spot in the 17 week in and week out.

"I'm looking forward to being a part of a new club and getting to know the sponsors, staff, supporters and local community."

Miller scored six tries in 24 appearances after joining Hull in 2013.
