Huddersfield Giants secured a 32-14 victory over the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Sunday afternoon.

Huddersfield stormed into an early 10-0 lead courtesy of two tries from Jermaine McGillvary and a goal from Danny Brough, before Ben Cockayne replied for Wakefield with a try of his own.

Brough added another two goals in the opening period, before Cockayne added another two tries for Wakefield early in the second period.

Huddersfield proved too strong, however, as Brough added another goal, while two tries from Joe Wardle and a Kevin Brown try moved Huddersfield into a 32-14 lead late in the second period.
