Hull Kingston Rovers secure fullback Greg Eden from Huddersfield Giants

Hull Kingston Rovers have announced the signing of full-back Greg Eden from Huddersfield Giants.

The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year contract and will now fill the vacant number one shirt following the departures of Shannon McDonnell and Louis Sheriff.

"It was a pretty big decision for me to leave Huddersfield as I thought I was settled there for the next couple of years," Eden told the club's official website.

"Everything happened quickly though and now that it's all been done I'm delighted to be a Hull KR player. To know that the club came along and really wanted me on board is a great feeling and I'm looking forward to repaying the faith that [head coach] Craig [Sandercock] has shown in me."

Eden has become the Robins' eighth signing.
