Result: Great Britain lose to Sweden in women's goalball quarter-finals

Great Britain's goalball women lose 2-1 to Sweden in the quarter-finals of the Paralympic Games.

Great Britain's goalball women's team will not be able to fight for a Paralympic medal after losing 2-1 to Sweden in the quarter-finals.

Sweden scored a dramatic late winner to clinch a spot in the semi-finals after a tight tussle with the home nation.

Anna Sharkey gave ParalympicsGB the lead after a goalless first half but the Swedes responded instantly with an equaliser.

As the minutes ticked down, it looked likely that there would be overtime but a late winner from Sweden crushed Great Britain's hopes of making the semi-finals.
