Monisha Kaltenborn reportedly steps down as team principal and chief executive of the Sauber Formula 1 team.

Monisha Kaltenborn has reportedly walked away from her role at the Sauber Formula 1 team.

According to, Kaltenborn was not on board with the owners wanting to give driver Marcus Ericsson priority over Pascal Wehrlein.

It is believed that lengthy talks were held between the two parties, but agreements could not be reached and the decision to part ways was made.
