Sebatsian Vettel quickest in second Indian Grand Prix practice

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel completes the track at the Indian Grand Prix in the quickest time for both practice sessions ahead of Sunday's race.

Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel has secured the fastest time in the second practice of the Indian Grand Prix following his impressive drive in the opening session of the day.

The reigning champion heads into Sunday's race in fine form after whipping round the track in 1:27.619 in the first session of the day and then topping the second practice in 1:26.221.

The German driver's teammate Mark Webber finished a point of a second behind Vettel's time, while Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg completed the third and fourth best times respectively.

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton clocked a time of 1:27.131s, while his teammate Jenson Button finished just below the driver in the standings with a time of 1:27.182s.
