Wrexham have continued their fine start to the Conference Premier campaign with a 3-2 victory away at Alfreton Town.
Joe Ironside gave bottom-of-the-table Alfreton a fifth-minute lead, but that opener was quickly cancelled out by Louis Moult, who charged down a clearance from Cameron Dawson before tapping into the net.
The visitors were having the better of possession and they made it 2-1 on 27 minutes when Blaine Hudson met Elliott Durrell's cross to head home at the far post.
The Welsh outfit seized full control of the match just before the break when Connor Jennings netted from close range to leave Alfreton staring a fourth defeat in the face.
Wrexham continued their dominance at the start of the second half, but, after their hosts had managed to avoid conceding a fourth, they went close through Ironside, who could only place an effort wide at the back post.
Alfreton pulled a goal back with 16 minutes remaining when Paul Clayton got in front of his marker to send a header past Andy Coughlin to increase their hope of a first point of the season.
Tom Shaw went close to an equaliser in the closing stages, but after Alfreton had Luke Graham sent off in the final minute, Wrexham hung on to record their third win of the season.
