Wolverhampton Wanderers hand trial to Ryan Colclough

Crewe Alexandra winger Ryan Colclough has been handed a trial at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Colclough is out of contract at Gresty Road, but due to his age, the 20-year-old is unable to leave the club without the League One outfit agreeing a fee for his departure.

However, Colclough, who has made 38 appearances at Crewe, has been given the chance to impress Championship outfit Wolves after being invited to train with the club by head coach Kenny Jackett.

The attacker has been named in the club's squad for Saturday's friendly at Doncaster Rovers.
