Wolves 'bid £17.8m for Yerry Mina'

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly decided to make an offer of £17.8m for Barcelona defender Yerry Mina.

The newly-promoted Premier League side are looking to strengthen before the start of the new season, and the club made a statement on Tuesday with the signing of Portugal international Joao Moutinho from Monaco.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the West Midlands outfit now want to secure a permanent deal for Mina, who may be allowed to leave Camp Nou this summer.

The report claims that Wolves have offered a fee of £13.3m for the Colombia international, with an extra £4.5m being included in add-ons.

The 23-year-old is attracting interest from all over Europe, and Manchester United have allegedly joined Everton in the race for the centre-back.

Barcelona are likely to give Mina permission to exit the club before the start of the new season - either on a permanent or temporary basis - due to having too many non-European players.
