Report: Bakary Sako on Tony Pulis's winger wishlist

West Brom manager Tony Pulis is reportedly considering a bold move for Wolves star Bakary Sako as he looks to add a winger to his squad before the transfer deadline.

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis is apparently considering preying on local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers for winger Bakary Sako.

Pulis has made signing a wideman a priority in his first transfer window as Baggies boss as he tries to steer them towards Premier League safety.

Albion have failed in two bids for Wigan Athletic's Callum McManaman and have also made an approach for Nottingham Forest's Michail Antonio.

The Daily Mail claims that Sako, who has scored seven goals in 27 games this season and is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations with Mali, is another option that Pulis is considering.

The 26-year-old only has six months remaining on his Molineux contract and Wolves would be willing to sell this month if they receive a substantial bid from a Premier League club, but would likely face a backlash if they allowed him a move across the West Midlands.
