The 21-year-old, who has signed a three-month contract with the Pilgrims, could feature in their Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie with Cheltenham Town this week.
It had been believed that Reckford would force his way into the Wolves side this season, but he has been allowed to depart in search of regular football.
Reckford signed professional terms with the League One outfit in 2010.
