Wolverhampton Wanderers strike duo return to training

Wolverhampton Wanderers are handed a boost ahead of their match with Sheffield United as both Kevin Doyle and Leigh Griffiths return to training against injury.

Wolverhampton Wanderers duo Kevin Doyle and Leigh Griffiths have both returned to training ahead of the club's match with Sheffield United.

Doyle was absent from the League One outfit's trip to Shrewsbury Town at the weekend due to a thigh strain, while Griffiths picked up an ankle problem during the same fixture.

However, both players took part in training on Thursday to put themselves in contention for the clash with the Blades on Saturday.

Doyle has netted once for Wolves this season, while Griffiths has scored four times in eight league appearances.
