Wolves in talks with new coach

Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly in discussions with Patrick Weiser regarding the possibility of him joining the club's coaching staff.

Manager Stale Solbakken, who worked with Weiser at FC Cologne, is said to be keen to bolster his options following the recent departure of assistant coach Terry Connor.

Forty-year-old Weiser was in attendance during Wolves' 1-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers at the weekend and sat with chief executive Jez Moxey, according to the Express & Star.

He has been out of work since he left Cologne in April.
