Stephen Ward is aiming to become the only Wolverhampton Wanderers player to play every minute of the Premier League season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers full-back Stephen Ward has set himself the target of featuring in the club's last two Premier League fixtures.

Should the Republic of Ireland international complete the remaining 180 minutes, he will have played in every minute of Wolves' campaign.

"I have played every minute of every game so it's been brilliant to play so many matches," he told the Express and Star. "It's probably taken its toll on the limbs. I got a bit of a dead leg on Saturday but I wanted to stay out there to keep my record.

"I will be fine for the next game, though. Hopefully, I can stay in the team for the last two games."

Ward joined Wolves in 2007 from Irish club Bohemians.
