Kenny Jackett: 'We need to get over the line'

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett insists that his side still have work to do to secure promotion to the Championship.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has revealed that he remains grateful that his side have continued to keep the race for promotion in their own hands.

The Molineux outfit require just four points from their final five games to secure a return to the Championship, but ahead of their trip to Crewe Alexandra, Jackett has insisted that his team still have work to do.

The 52-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "Promotion is what we want – and we haven't got it yet.

"It's within our grasp and our capabilities which is good and is all that we can ask.

"We have to work hard now to make sure that we get over the line. It's nice that it's down to us."

Despite automatic promotion almost being secured, Wolves only hold a slender advantage over Brentford as they attempt to win the League One title.
