Kenny Jackett leads League One Manager of the Month award nominees

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett leads the nominees for the League One Manager of the Month award for April.

The 52-year-old saw his side pick up four wins and two draws to clinch the title and return to the Championship at the first attempt.

Sheffield United's Nigel Clough is also nominated as an unbeaten run of seven matches pushed the Blades into the top half of the standings.

Darren Ferguson joins Jackett and Clough in the shortlist after five wins from seven games guided the Posh towards a playoff place.

Oldham Athletic boss Lee Johnson completes the nominees as vital victories against Bradford City, Colchester United and Carlisle United helped his side avoid relegation.

The winner of the award will be announced on Friday morning.
