Jackett: 'I've no complaints over schedule'

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett believes that his side have an opportunity to put pressure on the club's promotion rivals in League One.

Jackett takes his Wolves team to face Gillingham on Friday evening, and despite it being the club's fourth fixture in eight days, the former Millwall boss has insisted that he has no complaints over the schedule.

The 51-year-old told the Express & Star: "I've got no complaints. Let's turn it the other way and see if we can win to put pressure on the other teams, because if we can, we'll be in a good situation.

"I see it as an opportunity rather than a disadvantage, and I certainly don't think that it should be offered up as an excuse in a title race.

"Two away games in quick succession is more points to play for very quickly. That's a nice focus because if we can win tonight, we'll be setting the pace, and that's an opportunity we have to take."

Wolves will move to the top of the League One table if they can win at the Priestfield Stadium.
