Wigan Athletic in talks to sign Jean Beausejour

Wigan Athletic have been in talks with Birmingham City regarding the availability of Jean Beausejour, according to Sky Sports News.

The Premier League club are believed to have had a bid accepted by Birmingham and are now awaiting discussions with the winger over personal terms.

Birmingham are reportedly keen to offload the Chile international as they looked to trim down their wage bill.

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez is said to be a long-term admirer of the 27-year-old, having had an offer turned down for his signature during the summer.
