Roberto Martinez insists that Wigan must improve their results at home.

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has said that the club must use their home games to their advantage in order to avoid relegation.

The Latics, who are placed at the bottom of the Premier League ahead of their meeting with West Bromwich Albion, have secured just one home win in all competitions this season.

"We have to make sure we force a good performance and force a good result, because we deserve much more than what we've taken at home," he said.

"We need to use the DW Stadium to our advantage and create a hostile environment.

"We've done it before against the likes of Arsenal and West Ham, so we're looking forward to a repeat this season as well."

Martinez's side have secured just one win so far in 2012.
