Wigan Athletic midfielder Jordi Gomez is confident that he and his teammates can grab a victory over Swansea City this weekend.

Wigan Athletic midfielder Jordi Gomez believes that it is only a matter of time before his side pick up some vital points in the Premier League.

The 27-year-old, who is preparing to go up against his former club Swansea City this weekend, believes that Roberto Martinez's side will get it right.

"Our performances have been quite good and I think we should have more points than we have," Gomez told the club's official website.

"But the important thing is the team is working hard during the games and the results will come. Swansea are a strong team in their stadium but we will go there as always and try to get the three points."

Wigan are currently 15th in the league table.
