Half-Time Report: Wigan Athletic in control against Barnsley

Wigan Athletic are leading Barnsley 2-0 at half time in the Championship.

Nicky Maynard opened the scoring with 10 minutes of the half remaining when Jean Beausejour laid it on a plate for the striker to turn home from close range.

Chris McCann struck an effort just over the bar on the half-hour mark before Martyn Waghorn headed home James McClean's corner towards the end of the half.

Ben Watson has been stretchered off and has been replaced by Josh McEachran.
