Uwe Rosler delighted by Wigan Athletic progress

Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler describes his side's victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals as the "biggest achievement" of his coaching career.

Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler has described his side's win over Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals as the "biggest achievement" of his coaching career.

The holders caused an upset against City for the second time in as many seasons on Sunday as they earned a 2-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium.

"To win - and the way we won - is my biggest achievement as a football manager," Rosler is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"We did not do it just by parking the bus and being lucky. We played very good football and over long periods."

Wigan will now take on Arsenal at Wembley Stadium for a place in the final.
