West Ham won't offer deal to Collins?

West Ham United reportedly have no plans to hand James Collins a permanent return to the London Stadium.

Collins has spent over a decade of his playing career with the Hammers, but the veteran was released earlier in the summer.

The 35-year-old has recently spent time training with the club in a bid to build his fitness, and there had been a suggestion that the East London outfit could offer the centre-back a short-term deal.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the Premier League side will not be giving Collins a third spell with the club.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini told reporters earlier on Thursday that the 'door was always open' for Collins to continue training with his first-team squad.
