West Ham want Wayne Hennessey?

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has reportedly made Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey one of his major transfer targets.

The Welsh international recently fell out with Wolves manager Kenny Jackett over his refusal to feature in a match against Gillingham, amid reports having linked him with a move to Crystal Palace.

The Eagles are said to have had a bid turned down for the 26-year-old's services, although West Ham are hopeful that they can secure his signature on a loan basis until the end of the campaign, according to The People.

Hennessey joined Wolves as a trainee from Manchester City in 2003.
