West Ham United 'want Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan'

West Ham United are reportedly keen on bringing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek to the London Stadium on loan in the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old, who came through the youth system at Chelsea, has only made one Premier League appearance under Antonio Conte this season.

It is understood that the Blues will refuse any transfer bids for the England Under-21 international, but Conte is said to be prepared to loan the young midfielder to continue his development.

According to The Express, West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is a firm admirer of Loftus-Cheek and will attempt to beat a number of clubs to his signature when the winter transfer window opens for business.

Loftus-Cheek made 17 first-team appearance for Chelsea last season, scoring twice in the process.
