West Ham United plan permanent Alex Song talks?

West Ham United are reportedly planning talks with Alex Song over a permanent move.

The 27-year-old midfielder is currently on a season-long loan at Upton Park from Barcelona and has made 25 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers during the current campaign.

The West Ham hierarchy are now eager to open talks with Song and Barcelona towards the end of the season, according to Goal.com.

It is understood that the Catalan giants would sell the former Cameroon international for around £5m.

West Ham are currently in ninth place in the Premier League table following just one victory in their last eight matches.
