West Ham United have reportedly decided to pursue another loan deal for Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario.
In January, the Hammers brought in Mario on a temporary basis and the Portuguese international went on to contribute two goals and one assist from 13 outings in the Premier League.
The player has now left the London Stadium but according to the London Evening Standard, West Ham want the 25-year-old to return on a season-long loan deal.
However, Inter are allegedly looking to receive a fee in the region of £26m for Mario and the player's participation at the World Cup could help their cause.
On Monday night, Mario got on the scoresheet as Portugal registered a 2-2 draw with Tunisia as part of their preparations for the tournament in Russia.
